We have been featured on The Pretty Blog today!!! :D

I couldn’t be more happy about this! I have been following The Pretty Blog since it basically started up in 2010 and have loved it ever since! It’s one of my favourite wedding and all-round prettiness inspiration blogs. I was beyond ecstatic when I heard back from their team about featuring our Amanda + Jeremy shoot.

A Couple Of Night Owls | Auckland, New Zealand Wedding Photographers

The great thing about our job is being able to help wonderful people capture their memories. Jess + Mike have been living in their quaint home in Auckland for the past 3 years and now have to say goodbye to it, as they are packing up and heading back down south to milk cows on a family farm. They have been renovating the home in preparation for the sale, and wanted us to capture them in their home and garden before they have to leave, in order to record their time with the home. Their sweet dog Pedro decided to join in on the fun. He was a bit of a camera hog.

We arrived to the smell of home baking. Pikelets. Yum! And left to the smell of pizza (and left with a little care package of pizza as well, thanks Jess!). I also must say, I learnt A LOT about beans. I had no idea there was so much to know!

We had a blast getting to know Jess + Mike (and Pedro!) and hope that they have fun on the next journey; moving south!

When Amanda + Jeremy told us they never got to have any proper wedding/engagement photos, we were delighted to be able to give them the “encore” shoot they always deserved as part of our inspiration concept.

We went the extra mile styling and planning this one and visited Raglan 3 times prior to do location scouting so we could give them a collection of photos they would never forget. Planning and organizing was a pretty intense 3 week production leading up to the 2 day shoot, but it was totally worth it as we couldn’t be happier with the photos and the schedule was so well planned we even got to have a couple of hours off in the afternoon to enjoy the gorgeous weather Raglan put on for us. We were worried the day before driving down from Auckland as it was raining and the forecast was not good, but as you’ll see below Raglan is dream on a beautiful day.

Amanda + Jeremy were stunning to shoot, and we must give huge thanks to both them, Morgan at Crowns Clothing, and Jessica at Foxes for helping supply some fantastic outfits!! Another big massive thanks to Jo at Raglan Kopua Holiday Park, Tyler - Our Amazing Assistant and Lydia of Grace Cakes.
