Although we didn’t get to meet Helen and Frazer until their big day (sometimes thousands of kilometers get in the way), we could tell right from the get-go that they were incredibly genuine people. Seeing them interact with their friends and family on their wedding day was proof of this. Everything was simple. Smiles, laughs, tears and story-telling. No sweating the small stuff.

Not even the forecast for torrential rain concerned them. If it rained, it rained. Helen and Frazer loved each other and on this day, they were getting married. Rain wasn’t going to get in the way of that.

Luckily for us, the weather gods held off their great downpour until we were back inside at the reception. A light mist seemed to be in the air all day though, and what it brought with it was the perfect overcast light. That is all we were hoping for. Kerikeri, you did good.
