When we first met with Deliah we were asked to focus on shooting her family, specifically the grandparents and children. Deliah and Marshall lead extremely busy lives and don’t get much time or opportunity to be with their loved ones. Deliah works with children as a nanny. Adores them. Second only to her grandparents. We talked for probably 2 hours or more that day and it was clear she was extremely passionate about them. We love passion. We respond to it the way any artist that has struggled and given up the ‘security’ of a regular paycheck to pursue what they love does. We relate to that kind of passion. So her desires became our mission. That we would not fail. And it turned out to be easy. Both the grandparents and children were gorgeous. We ended up taking a cinematic approach to capturing the day and the events, as it felt like we were in a movie. Thank you to Deliah and Marshall for letting us join them for their sweet morning wedding in the wonderful little town of Matakana this summer. Stay passionate.
